In Northern California, a story is told that rabbit man from the East came to the people and shapeshifted into Grandpa Coyote. Misko-binesi, or The Red Thunderbird, who dances in the Northern Lights. Hadassah's family has worked with these spirits for over 20 generations, thus why her family is named Green Sky. In Anishinaabek life ways, it is believed that the Northern Lights are our ancestors dancing for us in the sky

The 7 Grandfather Teaching of Love is represented by the Eagle. This piece depicts their dance and unwavering trust to complete this dangerous dance mid-air. The word for Love in Anishinaabemowin is Zaagidiwin, which translates to mutual love, or pity in a way you’d pity a small, helpless child.
